Dear Friends,
Thank you for all your kind words, encouraging support and friendship surrounding the recent demise of my beloved cat. We had a small and intimate farewell for Petals this afternoon. Raymond read a poem from Petals'favourite book, "Life" by Paulo Coelho."The moment we set off in search of love, it sets off in search of us. And saves us."
From, By the River Piedra I sat down and wept.
I guess the subject of death, is closely related to the subject of love. Death can never be truly felt except when it's the death of a love one. There is always a risk in loving, but do we let that stop us from loving? What would life be like if we try to stop ourselves from hurting by preventing love?
I think the answer to that is Dead. We would feel dead.
Pain tells us that we are alive. Love keeps us alive.
